Our Roots
Haji Banda Hasan, our revered founder, was born in Saharanpur in 1948. After migrating to Jama Masjid (Old Delhi) in 1960, he mastered the art of making tikkas, kebabs, and Mughlai dishes under the guidance of his Ustad. In 1972, he opened a humble stall in Shop No. 55, Khan Market, introducing Roomali Rolls to the city. Khan Saab's Tikkas, Kebabs, and Roomali Rolls soon gained worldwide fame, attracting students, celebrities, and elite patrons.
